Just dropped off a loved one at Atlantic Shores. Staff was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We felt so relieved when we left as we knew our family member would be well taken care of by this staff.
They have no idea what an emergency is, stood around when my father went into respiratory distress and waited close to 2 hours before 911 was called. When my father was transported to Beebe Hospital he was on Life Support.

My mother has been with Atlantic Shores for about 18 months in the long term dementia wing. I have overall very few complaints. But I don't think ANY nursing home is going to be good enough for any of our beloved parents. The care and concern my mother gets at A.S. is about the best she would anywhere. The staff is friendly and helpful. They seem genuinely happy to be there and they love on my mother every day! I unfortunately live 8 hours away but knowing she is in good and capable hands is a true blessing.
Beware of a nurse Valerie Remaley who may seek a position here.She is an unstable alcoholic. Don't let her care for you're family member
Care and Bed side manner was not Professional.A few Nurses and Aids I would commend.
